Terms & Conditions


These are the terms and conditions which apply when you register for or book a fitness class with us, and when we provide you with a fitness class.  Please read these terms carefully before you register with us or make a booking.

When we refer to “fitness class” in these terms, we mean any group physical exercise session which we provide or lead, including any teaching, instruction or training session, and including all related facilities, services and equipment.

1. Information about us and how to contact us

1.1 We are fit fab mama limited, a company registered in England under number 11697292.  Our registered office is at Hilltop, New Place, Uckfield, TN22 5DP.

1.2 You can contact us by emailing us at info@fitfabmama.uk.com or writing to Hilltop, New Place, Uckfield, TN22 5DP.

1.3 If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone, including text message and WhatsApp, or writing to you at the email or postal address you provided to us when you registered with us.

1.4 When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.

2. Registration

2.1 In order to attend any fitness class, you first have to book online at www.fitfabmama.uk.com/book-online.  As part of the booking process, you will be shown and must agree to these terms and conditions. We will also take payment at this stage for the requested fitness class, before the booking is completed.

2.2 Before you attend your first fitness class with us you must also register with us by completing a registration form which we will email to you once you have made a booking.

2.3 When completing your registration form and making a booking for any fitness class, you promise that:

a. the details you submit to us in the registration form are complete and correct;

b. you are 18 or over;

c. you are registering for, booking and attending the fitness class in a private capacity, and not for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose; and

d. you have attended your 6 week postnatal appointment with your GP and have been advised that you are fit and well enough to participate in our fitness classes.

e. that you accept full responsibility for your children at all times

2.4 You may only attend a fitness class once we have accepted your registration form. Our decision whether or not to accept your registration form is in our absolute discretion. 

2.5 We will email you to confirm our acceptance of your registration form and fitness class booking, at which point there will be a contract between you and us on these terms and conditions.

2.6 If we are unable to accept your registration form then your booking will be cancelled and we will refund to you all monies we have received from you in respect of your registration and first booking.  We will email you to confirm this.


3. Booking and Cancellation of Fitness Classes

3.1 There are a limited number of places at each fitness class and booking is subject to availability. You must book and pay for the desired fitness class for that particular time and date upon booking and before attendance.

3.2 We have discretion to cancel a fitness class with no less than 24 hours if there are deemed to be too few bookings. We will email you to let you know if this happens and will refund to you the full amount you have paid for the cancelled fitness class.

3.3 You may book a fitness class through our on-line booking system at www.fitfabmama.uk.com/book-online

3.4 We will only provide a fitness class to you if you have booked and paid for it in advance.

3.5 If a fitness class is already fully booked when you request a booking you can join a waiting list. If enough participants join a waiting list then we may run an additional class. In such event, all participants on the waiting list will be notified via email at the same time and will be given the opportunity to book that class.

3.6 When you book any fitness class, we will require you to pay us in advance for it and this payment is non-refundable even if you cannot attend the class except in exceptional circumstances as per clause 3.9. If you cannot attend you may email us at info@fitfabmama.uk.com to notify us.

3.7 If you arrive after the start of any warm up for a fitness class or you do not attend the fitness class at all, we will treat your booking for that class as having been cancelled by you. We will make a charge to you for that cancelled fitness class by not refunding the pre-payment.  Please see clause 3.8 for more details.

3.8 If you cancel a class as explained in clauses 3.6 or 3.7, we will charge you for the full price of that fitness class and will do so by not refunding the pre-payment You have already made.

3.9 If, due to exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to, serious illness, accidents and bereavement, you cancel a fitness class, we may in our discretion waive any charge for cancellation that we are otherwise entitled to make under clauses 3.6 or 3.8.

3.10 We may cancel a fitness class you have booked at any time before the time and date of that fitness class in the following circumstances:

3.10.1 The required instructor necessary for the fitness class is not available; or

3.10.2 An event described in clause 8 below occurs; or

3.10.3 We find that you have not complied with clause 2.3; or

3.10.4 The venue for the fitness class becomes unavailable; or

3.10.5 Adverse weather means it is too dangerous to run an outside class; or

3.10.6 We cannot accept your registration form in accordance with clause 2.4.


We will email you to let you know if we cancel a fitness class in such circumstances and we will refund to you in full the payment that you have made to us for that fitness class.

 3.11 We will use all reasonable endeavours to start the fitness class that you have booked at its scheduled start time, but the start may be delayed by overrun of a previous fitness class or by other circumstances. If a delay to the start is at least 10 minutes, or, if at any time before or after you arrive for a fitness class we notify you that there will be a delay of at least that time, you may cancel the fitness class and we will refund to you in full the payment that you have made to us for that fitness class.

3.12 Fitness classes and advertised instructors are subject to change from time to time but we will try to give you as much prior notice as possible of any such changes.

3.13 We reserve the right to expel you from any fitness class if your (or your child’s) conduct is in our reasonable opinion unacceptable, or is or may be in our reasonable opinion, harmful to our reputation, or if it amounts to your breach of these terms and conditions, or where in our reasonable opinion such expulsion is otherwise in the interests of others who are in that fitness class or who are in any other fitness class being held then or to be held subsequently. You will not be entitled to any refund for a fitness class started but not completed due to such expulsion.

4. Prices and Payment

4.1 You must pay the correct price for the fitness class you book, in accordance with our current prices detailed upfront before booking online at www.fitfabmama.uk.com/book-online.

4.2 You may make payment using our online booking system at www.fitfabmama.uk.com/book-online

4.3 We may alter our prices without prior notice, but if the price of any fitness class increases between the time when you book it and the date of the fitness class, the price increase will not apply to you for the fitness class on that date.

4.4 All prices of fitness classes shown in our price list are inclusive of VAT.

5. Fitness, Health and Safety

5.1 You acknowledge that certain fitness classes may be physically strenuous and you agree that you voluntarily participate in such fitness classes with full knowledge that subject to clause 8.1, there is a risk of personal injury or illness arising from your participation in such a fitness class.

5.2 Certain fitness classes may be unsuitable for you if you have special needs, or any medical, health or fitness problem or condition or are pregnant.

5.3 You must ensure that you are fit and well enough to participate in any fitness class that you book, and you will at all times be responsible for your own state of health, physical condition and wellbeing.

5.4 If you have any concerns about your fitness or health, you should seek appropriate medical advice from a relevant professional medical or other adviser before attending a fitness class. We cannot and do not provide any such advice.

5.5 You must not attend a fitness class until you have had your 6 week postnatal appointment with your GP and have been advised that you are fit and well enough to participate in our fitness classes.

5.6 You agree that when you register, book and attend any fitness class, that will be your confirmation that you have no health or fitness problems which may affect your participation in any fitness class.

5.7 When you make a booking for a fitness class and at least 48 hours before you attend any fitness class, if you tell us at that time about any medical, health or fitness issue or special need, we will discuss it with you, and inform you if we decide not to accept your booking because of that issue or special need. If we do accept your booking, you must act in accordance with any instructions provided by us [relating to the issue or need]. Any instruction by us in this regard does not constitute medical advice. If we cannot accept your booking because of this information then we will cancel your booking and provide you with a refund for the amount paid.


5.8 If you do not tell us before a fitness class of any medical, health or fitness issue which may affect your attendance, that we then discover, we will be entitled not to provide some or all of a fitness class booked and to treat the fitness class (or the affected part of it) as cancelled by you without notice to us.  In this case, clause 3.8 will apply.

5.9 You must not attend any fitness class when under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs or immediately following a heavy meal.

5.10 You should arrive at least before any warm up involved in that fitness class. If you arrive after any warm-up for that fitness class has begun, we may not permit you to participate in the fitness class for health and safety reasons.  Please see clause 3.7 for further details as to what happens in this event.

5.11 Fire exits are clearly marked and are in the interests of safety. You must not obstruct these exits for any reason. In the event of a fire, you should make your way to the nearest available exit with all possible speed and assemble at a safe distance from our premises so that we may take a roll-call of all those at our premises. The fire policy of the relevant venue will be applicable.

5.12 Your child and their safety remains the full responsibility of you the parent/guardian at all times. We do not provide childcare.

6. Gift Vouchers

6.1 Gift vouchers are available to purchase via our website.

6.2 Gift vouchers are valid either for the period specified on the gift voucher or, where no period is specified, indefinitely.

6.3 Gift vouchers may be redeemed only for fitness classes and may not be redeemed partly or wholly for cash.


7. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control

7.1 If our performance of the fitness classes is affected by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any fitness classes you have paid for but not received.


8. Our responsibility for loss or damage you suffer

8.1 If we fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we will be responsible for any loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if we both knew it might happen when our contract was made (for example, if you discussed it with us during the booking process).

8.2 We provide our fitness classes to you only for your personal and private use/purposes. If you use or attend our fitness classes for any commercial, business or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, interruption to business or for any loss of business opportunity.

8.3 Each of our instructors is appropriately qualified to conduct the particular fitness class which they conduct but their advice does not include any medical or similar advice and is not a substitute for advice provided by an appropriate medical, health, or fitness professional or therapist.

8.4 If you bring any personal belongings onto our premises, we do not undertake to keep them safe or provide any storage place for them. Their loss or damage will be at your own risk except where such loss or damage is due to our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings caused by any other customer, guest or visitor to our premises even where you leave or store them in any place at our premises. We therefore advise you not to bring any valuable belongings to our premises.

8.5 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8.6 We are under a legal duty to perform the fitness classes in conformity with these terms and conditions, and nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights. For more details of your legal rights, please refer to your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

9. Changes to these terms and conditions

We may from time to time change these terms and conditions, but if we do so we will notify you and you may then contact us to end the contract before the changes take effect and receive a refund for any fitness classes booked and paid for but not received.


10. How We Use Your Personal Information

We will only use your personal information as set out in Our Privacy Policy available on Our website.

11. Complaints

We always welcome feedback from you and, whilst we always use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your experience as our customer is a positive one, we nevertheless want to hear from you if you have any cause for complaint. 12. Other important terms

12.1 We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.

12.2 You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree to this in writing.

12.3 This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

12.4 Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

12.5 These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts.
