Our Fab Team

"Hey mamas! Thank you so much for your interest in fit fab mama! I'm Louise and I have 2 young boys Jacob & Zachery 💛

Since having my first son in 2017 I really struggled to fit regular exercise into my daily routine, partly due to the practical demands of motherhood but also due to the exhaustion by the end of the day! This is when the idea for fit fab mama was born. For me exercise is about feeling better after a workout than I did before it and I find it absolutely necessary for my mental wellbeing.

You will often find me in the classes trying to fit my exercise in and providing an extra pair of eyes.

In creating fit fab mama I always have the interests of fellow mamas at the heart of my decisions and would therefore love to hear how fit fab mama could work for you!"

Dance Mama

"My name is Shelly White, and I am passionate about yoga! I live in Lewes with my partner and 4 children, a teenager and 3 little tots including twins! Motherhood is incredible, and incredibly demanding, I know that my yoga practice continuously serves me and help keep me in balance!

I began practicing yoga in 1999 and I have been teaching since 2010. During my first pregnancy in 2006 my yoga practice was transformational, for me it felt like the most natural thing to do, and helped create a magical bond with my unborn son. I decided that I wanted to share this powerful practice and to train as a teacher. I have been very fortunate to have trained with many wonderful and renowned teachers and have furthered my training in pregnancy yoga, children’s yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga. I have a special interest in the therapeutics of yoga, and have taken further trainings within this field which continue to lead me to my aim of becoming a yoga therapist.

I believe in yoga, and its’ ability to heal and nurture us whatever stage of our life we are in. It is a great honour to share yoga and a privilege to be part of your yoga journey."

Pregnancy Yoga  Mama

"I've been practicing Yoga since 1996, teaching since 2000 and helping mums to get ready for birth and recover afterwards since 2002.

My journey into teaching pregnant mums started in London in 2002. I had been a Yoga teacher for a couple of years when I fell pregnant with my first daughter. At the time I was a dedicated Ashtanga Vinyasa practitioner under the guidance of Hamish Hendry. One of my fellow students was a wonderful woman called Lynne Pinette. She was a pregnancy Yoga teacher, having been an Obstretric Nurse in the US.

Lynne gave me one of the most generous and precious gifts that anyone has ever given me. She taught me how to look after my pregnant body with adapted Yoga and took me under her wing as an apprentice so I could learn, hands on, how to pass this vital information on to other women. By the end of my pregnancy I was teaching regular pregnancy classes at the Life Centre, TriYoga and the Portland Hospital. I had never imagined that I would feel confident enough to look after pregnant women, but I absolutely and totally loved it.

I couldn't wish for a more fulling job, especially when I get the email or text message to hear that a new Yoga baby has arrived!

I have 2 teenage daughters, a cat and a dog."
