Fit Fab Mama COVID Policy

This document sets out the actions that we will take in all of our classes in order to minimise the risk posed by COVID-19 to participants, their children and our instructors.

  • We request that all adult participants maintain social distancing as much as possible when taking part in the class, mats will be appropriately spaced out when in use. This will be requested in a welcome email to all participants.

  • Windows will be opened in the rooms to allow for ventilation.

  • Exercise equipment will be limited and sanitised before use.

  • Participants will be welcome to wear a face mask into the room and remove when the class starts, however this is no longer mandatory.

  • Class sizes will be limited to 10, 12 or 15 adults excluding staff and instructors depending on the venue capacity.

  • Toys and play mats will be sanitised before class.

  • Contact details will be collected when participants book to comply with contact tracing requirements.

  • We request that participants let us know in advance if they have underlying health conditions so we can advise them appropriately.

  • We require participants to self-screen and not attend if they should be self isolating for the following reasons;

    • any symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste)

    • tested positive for COVID-19 or been to self isolate by NHS Test and Trace

  • No participant will return to the class for at least 10 days from the onset of symptoms and they must be at least 7 days with no symptoms. They will not be allowed back to the venue for at least 14 days from the onset of symptoms.

  • Any participant who may become symptomatic whilst at the class should leave the venue immediately without touching anything and without coming into close contact with anyone. If they are clinically unstable, they will be isolated in a separate room and medical assistance called for. Venue will be notified to ensure the isolation room to be cleaned after use.
